The PAA Art Show will be in full bloom. Mark your calendars to attend this unique art show and sale being held at the Long Beach Old Train Depot at 102 3rd Street NW in beautiful downtown Long Beach, Washington.

Stained glass, colorful paintings, a bounty of photographs, pottery, and whimsical 3-D art items are just a few of the items on display and for sale during this event. The art show is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite works in four different categories to determine the winners of the People’s Choice Awards. Additionally, visitors can purchase raffle tickets to win any of several original pieces of art.

Join local artists at the Artists’ Reception on Sunday 3-4pm . The People’s Choice Award winners will be announced, and the winners of the raffle drawing takes place at that time as well. All proceeds from the raffle benefit PAA’s High School Graduate Scholarship and Art Enrichment programs.

Open Studio tours

See Calendar for dates and times.

The Open Studio Tours are one of the very best ways to see the beauty of the Peninsula and to discover the many talents our creative members possess. Art studios are open up and down the Peninsula through Ilwaco, Long Beach, along Willapa Bay, Ocean Park and Surfside . . . the art you find as you journey will be as different as the villages you travel through. The Old Train Depot in downtown Long Beach may also showcase a few artists. Several new artist studios are planned for this year as well. It’s interesting to see where the artists actually create and have the chance to talk to them about their work. Most locations will be serving refreshments. This is a family friendly outing and the perfect way to do some special shopping. What’s better than something handcrafted by local artists and one-of-a-kind?
