18th Annual Spring Art Show & Sale

April 3, 4 & 5 - 10 to 5 pm

World Kite Museum – 303 Sid Snyder, Long Beach, WA                                                                                                                 Over 65 artists compete in judged art show plus Inspired Creations shopping experience.  Best in Show winner of the Fall 2008 show, potter Jan Richardson, is the featured artist.  Free admission!

Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade

4th of July - Ocean Park Parade Route

What a fun time...PAA gives out "fat" chalk to all the kids along the route, and they make art all over the sidewalks!

 

Starving Artists Sale

July 11 - 10:30 to 4 pm - Ocean Park Library

Some of the best bargains in town!  It's the time our members clear out their studios.  Art, supplies, frames, paper, canvas, books and more at rock bottom prices.

2nd Summer Art Festival and Craft Sale

39th Annual Fall Art Show & Sale

October 9, 10, 11 & 12 - 10 to 5 pm

Our oldest continuous art event. 

Over 65 artists compete in a judged art show plus Inspired Creations shopping experience.  The timing of this show makes it a great way to kick off holiday gift shopping.  Free admission!

PAA Artist Studio Tour

November 28, 2009 - 10 to 4 pm - Peninsula wide

In more than 14 locations, from Chinook to Oysterville, PAA artists open their studios to the public for demonstrations, sales and the chance to see art in the making. 
 

Wednesday Art Groups

Art Bunch - Every Wednesday at the Ilwaco Heritage Museum

10 to 3 - $5 fee

Firehouse Artists - Every Wednesday at the Ocean Park Firehouse

1 to 4:30 - no fee

These groups meet to paint, draw, create & critique in an atmosphere of comaderie and support.

Bordered by the Pacific Ocean, the mighty Columbia River and beautiful Willapa Bay, the small towns dotted throughout this southwest Washington peninsula are home to a wildly diverse and active community of artists.  Not your ordinary art group, PAA is comprised of creative souls lured by the natural beauty of the surroundings and the promise of a “beach” lifestyle.  From amateur to professional...young to old...potter to world renown watercolorist...PAA welcomes all who share in the joy of artistic endeavors.

Membership 

Membership in Peninsula Arts Association is $20 a year.  Patron Memberships are also welcome...you don't have to be an artist to actively support the arts.

PAA holds General Membership Meetings on the third Tuesday of the month, at 6 pm, at the Barn on Bay, 2311 Bay Avenue, Ocean Park, WA 98640.  Directions - Bay Ave is the main east to west street in Ocean Park...the Barn is east of U street about 2 blocks on the north side of the street, (right past the yellow & red hot dog house).  There is a U shaped driveway with gravel parking in the back.  Call 360-665-6041 for more information.
